Adult Permit Test
AA Star Driving School Irving Texas offers the DPS Authorized Road Test for teens and adults at our Irving location at 2300 Valley View Ln, suite 532 Irving, Texas-75062.
We are authorized by the Texas Department of Public Safety to give third party road tests to teens and adults.
Important Note: Pickup and drop-off are free within Irving city only. For other cities, an additional charge may apply based on the distance.
(All The driving time is 55 minutes = 1 hour.)
Adult Permit Test (6 Hours Online Class)
- Adults between the ages of 18 and 24 years of age are required by the State of Texas to complete a Texas drivers ed course for Adults

DOCUMENT REQUIREMENTS
- Application for the issuance of a driver license
- U.S. Citizenship or, if you are not a U.S. Citizen, evidence of lawful presence
- Texas Residency
- Proof of Identity
- Social Security Number
- Texas Driver Education Certificate (ADE-1317)
- Evidence of successfully passing the driver knowledge exam. (If you have not taken this test during the classroom portion of driver education, you will take it at the driver license office.
Impact Texas Adult Drivers (ITAD)
18-24 years of age:
- Possess a valid ADE-1317 showing completion of a Driver Education Course
- Have a valid restricted driver license
- Complete the ITD requirements by viewing the Impact Texas Adult Drivers (ITAD) video at the bottom of this page. The certificate of completion must be dated within 90 days prior to taking the drive test.
- After completing of your Road Test A2Z Driving School Dallas will issue you a Sealed Envelop with Documetation to collect you Driver License from DPS
