IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING TEXAS IMPACT VIDEO AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Failure to view the mandatory Texas IMPACT Video or submission of an invalid or expired certificate will result in disqualification due to missing required documentation.
This will lead to a $25 penalty and rescheduling fee.

• You are permitted only one attempt to pass the driving skills exam.
  A second attempt on the same day will cost $40.00.
  If taken on a different day, the cost will be $30.00.

• AA Star Driving School in Irving makes no guarantees of passing. A minimum score of 70% or above is required, based on the Texas DPS Standard COPS grading criteria.

• If both attempts are unsuccessful, you may either retake the test with AA Star Driving School (for an additional fee) or complete your behind-the-wheel test through the Texas Department of Public Safety.

• No refunds will be issued in the following cases:

  • Failure to appear for your appointment (no-show),

  • Missing required documents,

  • Your vehicle fails the pre-test inspection,

  • Cancelling with less than 24 hours’ notice,

  • Arriving late for your appointment.

• Arriving 5 minutes or later than your scheduled time will result in a $25 late fee and require rescheduling.

• A $25 administrative fee will apply for road test cancellations made after 24 hours from the time of signing the agreement.

Scheduling & Cancellation Policy for Driving Lessons

• Booking a driving lesson means a car and instructor are specifically reserved for you.

• To cancel or reschedule a driving session, you must log into your Drive Time Reservation account and make changes online only.

• Cancellations or changes must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
  Any cancellations made within less than 24 hours will incur a $25 no-show fee.

AA Star Driving School – Refund Policy

• If tuition is paid before attending and:

  • The student does not start the course, or

  • The student withdraws or cancels enrollment,

  The school may retain up to $50 for administrative expenses.
  Any remaining balance for classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction not yet provided will be refunded.

• A full refund of all paid tuition and fees will be issued in the following situations:

  • The student is not accepted into the program,

  • The course is canceled by the school,

  • Enrollment was based on any false or misleading advertising or misrepresentation by the school.

• All refunds will be processed and issued within 30 days from the official date of withdrawal or termination.
